Monday Night Pool League

Surf City Billiards has an in-house 8-Ball league that plays on Monday nights. Now don't get to thinking that you aren't good enough to play in this league. On the continuum, 1 being "just out to have fun" and 10 being "super serious pool league" this league is a solid 2. Pool is just the platform for getting together for some good cheap fun on an otherwise yucky night. Nightly dues will set you back all of 10 bucks, and half of that goes to prize money at the end of the season. Teams compose 4 players (5 if you might need to have a sub from time to time) and if you don't have a full team, no worries, we can place you. As far as play goes, each team member plays every member of another team each night (so 4 matches). Practice starts at 7:30, is on the house, and play starts at 8. Matches usually go until 10 or 10:30. Lotsa fun.

Darts League

The Santa Cruz County Darts Association is a long-standing steel-tip darts league that is just a great group of guys and gals. You've seen that show where the guy shoots the middle of a penny out, in mid-air, using a rifle at 50 feet? Well these guys can do that with darts. Surf City Biliards hosts several A and B-league teams, so if you have interest in assembling a team or joining one, just let us know.
