The same equation that drives customer retention for our business in general (fun time + awesome venue + great food and drinks + solid value = customer good times and revisitation) drives successful revenue generators repeatedly for our fundraising clientele. Good people, who are able, usually are happy to part with a little of their hard-earned cash where it goes to a good cause. We've learned they part with even a little more when they have genuine fun at the same time. There are just so many pizza nights that can be endured month after month.

Fundraisers at SCB typically take a couple different forms:

• The Kickback. Set a date (usually a month in advance works best) and a portion of every bill from customers you refer goes to your organization. The ratio is 25%, and that applies to the entire bill - food, drinks, table rental. If you host one night every month and meet a minimum revenue target, 30% will be donated.
• Fixed-rate private events. In this case, the entire hall is rented for an evening (or afternoon) and attendees pay a fixed price (usually in advance in the form of a ticket purchase) for gaming, food, raffle, etc. all night long. Both the ticket price (the amount paid by attendees for entry) and the hall rental fee (the amount we will need to host the event) will depend on the date and the offering you have in mind. Variables can include food selections, whether any drinks are to be included, live entertainment, and duration of your event. Many of our fundraising clients have their annual silent auction and raffles during their private events, thus generating revenue on both on the ticket sale and auction. The benefit of holding your "fundraiser inside a fundraiser" in this manner at SCB is that by having a great venue, as opposed to a boring restaurant or empty warehouse, your attendees will stay longer, bid more frequently, and will be more inclined to attend the event next year.
